Yes, it is possible to add small amounts of lemon or turmeric powder to water while fasting. However, it's important to ensure that any additions to your water are calorie-free, so avoid squeezing or eating the fruit.
For example, half a teaspoon of ground turmeric contains 0.7g net carbs and 0.2g protein. The amount of carbohydrates or protein needed to spike insulin (and break a fast) varies from person to person. A good rule of thumb is to stick with less than 1g of protein and fat to help ensure you won't break your fast. Therefore, 0.5 tsp. of ground turmeric or less should not break your fast.
