Does fasting cause constipation?
Constipation is a common issue during fasting. Bowel movements often slow down due to reduced food intake and possibly lower fluid intake. If you don't feel uncomfortable, then don't worry too much.
However, you can help relieve constipation by eating more fiber-rich foods, fruits, and vegetables when you're not fasting. Additionally, increasing your water intake is important. Natural fiber supplements like psyllium husk or flaxseed powder can also help increase stool volume and relieve constipation.
